5G is now - How to meet 5G NR non-standalone (NSA) mode testing challenges
The standalone (SA) mode is one of the main deployment scenarios for 5G NR. The fundamental difference to the non-standalone (NSA) mode is that SA does not rely on an LTE anchor for the exchange of control information between the network and the device. Instead, all signaling information is sent and received via the established 5G link to the new 5G core network. The R&S CMX500 radio communication tester is ideal to perform 5G NR signaling measurements for SA mode.
