As one of our Test & Measurement Account Managers, you will be part of a customer-focused team dedicated to maximizing sales through the development of new business and working closely with our existing customers utilizing a solutions-based sales approach. Products include a growing portfolio of spectrum analyzers, signal generators, oscilloscopes, network analyzers, and communication test systems. We are currently looking for an Account Manager, based in Montreal area to cover Quebec and Atlantic provinces.

Your tasks

  • Understand customer needs and identify how Rohde & Schwarz products can provide technical solutions
  • Create new business opportunities and expand existing customer relationships
  • Grow the territory and exceed quota
  • Partner with distribution and rental partners to grow R&S base business
  • Build and manage a strong sales funnel
  • Provide input and feedback to product marketing, service and development groups on customer product and application requirements

Your qualifications

  • BSEE (or equivalent)
  • Ten+ years of technical sales experience in Test and Measurement.
  • Experience in large account management.
  • Experience in public tenders and proposals.
  • Understanding of current electronic industry technologies including wireless, aerospace and defense, and educational institutes.
  • Ideal candidate will have a passion for selling, an intense focus on customer service and an overwhelming desire to succeed
  • Ability to travel regularly within Quebec and the Atlantic provinces.
  • Ability to work within a team environment with strong communication and collaborating skills to achieve growth objectives.
  • Excellent communication (verbal and written) in both English and French
