Sales and Product Management : Application Engineer for Pre Sales Support (m/w/d)

Your tasks

• Provide mainly the pre-sales technical support, primarily to key customers who are using our oscilloscopes in the power electronics industry and EMC applications.
• Work in close collaboration with local sales teams to build deep and trusting relationships with customers through: Expert product presentations and support for new product launches and participation in local marketing activities, leveraging exceptional application knowledge.
• Offer technical support remotely and on-site to customers across Austria and Eastern Europe
• Presentation in Seminars to defined topics
• Be a part of the European Application Engineering Team

Your qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
• A minimum of 5 years’ experience in power electronic engineering, with expertise in one or more of the following areas: High-power semiconductors application, Industrial inverter and/or drives, EMC applications, E-mobility including drives, charging, and battery technologies and/or Power applications within the test and measurement industry.
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively with multiple teams and manage various priorities.
• Demonstrated ability to work with multiple teams handling multiple priorities and able to function independently
• Experience in customer-facing and sales situations, with the ability to present alternative solutions and manage customer expectations carefully
• Strong communication skills, capable of engaging with internal and external customers in a multinational context
• Willingness to travel regularly, more than 30% of the time, within Austria and Eastern Europe
