ATC location system components
CERTIUMLOCATE increases situational awareness and ensures secure call-sign identification. ATC direction finders provide the direction towards the calling aircraft and display this valuable information on the radar screen of the air traffic controller. Multiple direction finders are able to cover large areas and provide even geolocation information.
Secure call-sign identification
CERTIUMLOCATE assists air traffic controllers to identify aircraft on the radar screen quickly and reliably. The system automatically recognizes aircraft, making it easier for controllers to verify the call sign ID during radio transmissions. This additional information also helps reduce mental pressure on air traffic controllers.
