RTE/RTO/RTP: Measurement of the level at a designated frequency in FFT with remote commands

Question

I am using the FFT function of my RTO/RTP. Is there a way to query the level from the FFT at a designated frequency? Like it can be done with markers at spectrum analyzers?

Answer

There are no markers available, but the cursor function can be used for that:

• CURS1:SOUR M1 -> Assign cursor 1 to the FFT (which is usually “Math 1”)
• CURS1:STAT ON -> Activate the cursor
• CURS1:X1P 24000000 -> Set the cursor to a designated frequency (here i.e. 24 MHz)
• CURS1:Y1P? -> Query the level
