For some tests a vector network analyzer is required. The Scope Suite software just supports VNAs from R&S to be connected via LAN for automated measurements.
Can I use also other VNAs and do the measurement manually?

Resolution
Yes – that’s possible with one condition: It is necessary that the VNA supports the export of measurements to touchstone files.
At the Scope Suite software go to “Settings” --> “Instruments” --> VNA
Set the operating mode to “Manual”. Then no LAN connection is required.
If a test is started which requires a VNA (i.e Return Loss) the following windows appears:
Click on “Yes” – then the necessary steps for the measurements are shown in detail.
Confirm every step with “Next”.
After some steps you are requested to start the S11 Measurement with the VNA. The trace must be exported to a touchstone file and then imported to the scope suite software. The file explorer opens where you can select the file.
