Webinar: Embedding & equalization - emulation of signal distortion & signal recovery

This webinar is intended for engineers who work on high-speed digital design and test.

In particular, we will be discussing embedding and equalization to overcome challenges with the transmission channel and signal impairments. After a quick introduction in inter-symbol interference (ISI) incl. root causes such as bandwidth limitations, reflections and rise-time degradation, you will learn how equalization can compensate such frequency-dependent channel losses by adjusting the signal's frequency response. Various filter types will be compared on their effectiveness to remove ISI and in the presence of noise.

By reference to R&S®RTP oscilloscope and R&S®RTP-K126 embedding & equalization option, we will be showing testing incl. emulation of signal channel and equalizer is easy and reliable.
