Selecting your next oscilloscope: Why digital triggering matters
Triggering is often overlooked as a key selection parameter until after the instrument is purchased. Digital triggering provides significant advantages over traditional oscilloscope analog triggering, and should be highly considered when choosing an oscilloscope. Newer oscilloscope architectures contain a single path shared by both the signal and triggering, known as digital triggering.
