What file formats does Gallium / StreamMaster support?

StreamMaster supports many of the standard file formats and continues to expand on this when new codecs and formats emerge into our market. Because even standards for codecs and formats can vary at R&S we would always recommend that a selection of representative files are provided for validation. We always play files in their native format. Full list of supported files can be found on our website.

Where can I improve my current workflows?

What level of redundancy do I require?

Gallium and StreamMaster solutions can be very flexible with their redundancy models from N+1 to 1+1 architectures. Also, we can design redundancy models that can be built in different locations and environments when access is made available to a shared network.

How can I monitor the current state of my channels, systems, and hardware?

Gallium and StreamMaster solutions are visualized through the Gallium UI. The UI has a design function that allows the user to design layouts that are specific to a particular task. For example, the user has the ability to use panels to create a layout that provides a configuration option to filter on different criteria’s. This can be built up to provide a monitoring by exception layout across all the channels you are interested in for this function. We also offer a public REST APIs to access the current state and health of the system, where the results from these queries can be used in a systems wider monitoring tool which is pulling data from all parts of the environment and contributing to this holistic view.
